1. Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of World Incontinence News (https://worldincontinence.com), published by Artemis Medical SA. By using the site you accept them. Purchases are additionally governed by the Terms of Sale; personal data by the Privacy Policy.
2. Access
The site is free to access, except for expressly paid services. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation; we may modify, suspend or discontinue it. Information is provided for general information only: it is neither medical advice nor individualised professional advice (see the Health Products Notice).
3. Permitted use
You agree not to: disrupt the site; attempt to access non-public areas; bulk-collect content or data beyond what robots.txt allows and the open datasets we publish; impersonate anyone; post unlawful content. Reading, short quotation with a link, and sharing links are free.
5. Intellectual property
Site content (texts, images, trademarks, logos, structure) is protected. What we publish under an open licence (test data, datasets) may be reused under that licence, with attribution. Everything else: short quotation with a link, otherwise written permission.
6. User content and code of conduct
Licence. By submitting content (article, image, comment) you warrant that you hold the rights and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the term of protection to publish, translate, adapt for layout, archive it and include it in our newsletters and feeds. You keep ownership and may request removal; an archived copy may be kept for evidence and the corrections log.
Code of conduct. Every contributor, advertiser and participant agrees to: 1. Tell the truth — no unverifiable claim, no unsupported health claim, no disparaging comparison. 2. Disclose — all commercial content is declared and labelled; every interest is stated. 3. Respect — no hateful, sexual, harassing or discriminatory content; respect for people living with incontinence and for specialised communities. 4. Do not copy — copyright and image rights respected; short, sourced quotations. 5. Do not manipulate — no fake accounts, bought votes or comments, or moderation workarounds. 6. Protect — no third-party personal data, no photo of a person without consent. 7. Cooperate — answer requests for justification within 7 days.
Moderation and sanctions. Moderation is assisted by automated tools (conduct, facts, rights, personal data) and every sanction is confirmed by a person. Steps: warning → 30-day suspension → exclusion (account, organisation, domain). Serious breach (fraud, unlawful content): immediate exclusion. A sanctions register is kept. Appeal: e-mail contact@worldincontinence.com within 30 days; reasoned reply within 15 days. Sponsored content refused in moderation is refunded (Terms of Sale).
Notices. Anyone may report content: contact@worldincontinence.com, subject “Notice”, with the URL and reason. Acknowledgement within 48 hours, decision within 7 days, author and notifier informed.
7. External links
The site links to third-party sources. We do not control their content; a link is not an endorsement.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Artemis Medical SA is not liable for indirect damage arising from use of, or inability to access, the site, nor for third-party content. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes
These terms carry their version date; substantial changes are announced on the site 15 days before they take effect.
10. Governing law

Código de conducta. Cada colaborador, anunciante y participante se compromete a: 1. Decir la verdad — ninguna afirmación no verificable, ninguna reclamación de salud sin soporte, ninguna comparación despectiva. 2. Revelar — todo contenido comercial está declarado y etiquetado; se menciona todo interés. 3. Respetar — ningún contenido odioso, sexual, hostil o discriminatorio; respeto por las personas con incontinencia y por las comunidades especializadas. 4. Moderación y sanciones. La moderación se realiza con la ayuda de herramientas automatizadas (conducta, hechos, derechos, datos personales) y cada sanción es confirmada por una persona. Pasos: advertencia → suspensión de 30 días → exclusión (cuenta, organización, dominio). Faltas graves (fraude, contenido ilegal): exclusión inmediata. Se mantiene un registro de sanciones. Apealación: enviar un correo electrónico a contact@worldincontinence.com dentro de 30 días; respuesta razonada dentro de 15 días. El contenido patrocinado rechazado en la moderación se reembolsa (Términos de Venta).
Notificaciones. Cualquier persona puede reportar contenido: contact@worldincontinence.com, con el asunto “Notificación”, incluyendo la URL y la razón. Aviso de recepción en 48 horas, decisión en 7 días, notificación al autor y al denunciante.
